Norwich City are planning to lure Garry Monk to Carrow Road next season, according to reports emerging out of England.
Norwich City parted ways with Alex Neil a few months ago following a poor run of results and his replacement, Alan Irvine, has done a decent job since taking over the managerial reins last month.
However, Irvine is unlikely to be appointed as the permanent option heading into next season and a host of names are already being touted as potential managerial targets for the Canaries.
Now in shock reports emerging out of England, reports have claimed that Norwich are currently planning an ambitious swoop for Leeds United boss Garry Monk.
Monk has conducted a brilliant job at Elland Road so far but following a poor run of results, the Whites currently look like they will be missing out on one of the promotion playoff places.
Monk’s contract with Leeds is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and one can be sure that the 38-year-old will be attracting the interest from a host of clubs.
Norwich will be intent on earning promotion next season and it is believed that the Canaries’ hierarchy are planning to put up a lucrative offer in order to lure Monk to arrive at Carrow Road over the summer.
