Leicester City have won the race to secure the services of Dutch wonder kid Tonny Vilhena, according to reports emerging out of England
Leicester City are on the verge of achieving immortality by claiming the Premier League title this term and their remarkable feat will surely go down in history as one of the greatest ever sporting upsets.
With Champions League football awaiting next season, the future seems to be very bright for Leicester but one can be sure that the Foxes will need to strengthen their squad over the summer in order to continue upsetting the order in English as well as European football.
As a result, Leicester are expected to be busy during the upcoming transfer window and if reports are to be believed, the Foxes are on the verge of securing the services of Dutch wonderkid Tonny Vilhena.
Leicester have been long term admirers of Vilhena and had even considered signing the youngster during the January transfer window.
Evidently the move did not come into fruition as Leicester were willing to wait till the summer in order to complete the deal and as a result, it allowed fellow Premier League side Southampton to also enter the race to sign the youngster.
The Ronald Koeman factor was believed to play a crucial role in taking Vilhena to Southampton but now reports have claimed that Leicester have managed to fend off competition from the Saints for the 21-year old and the signing is set to be completed in the coming weeks.
