Leeds United will be pulling out all the stops to lure Zach Clough away from Bolton Wanderers, according to reports from Kick Off
Leeds United have been very active in the transfer market this winter and have made a couple of notable signings in the form of Liam Bridcutt, Toumani Diagouraga and Mustapha Carayol so far.
Now manager Steve Evans is looking to bolster is attacking lineup as well and signing Aiden McGeady from Everton is a priority for the Whites’ boss.
Evans is also looking to bring in a new striker to Elland Road before the end of the January transfer window and a host of names have been linked with Leeds over the past few weeks.
It had recently been claimed that Leeds were considering a swoop for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle but now in fresh links, the Championship side are said to be eyeing a swoop for Bolton Wanderers star Zach Clough.
According to reports from Kick Off, claims have been made that Leeds are interested in signing Clough and will be pulling out all the stops to sign the 20-year old within the next few days.
It had been suggested that Bolton would be looking to keep hold of Clough despite their current financial predicament but now Leeds are ramping up their pursuit for the striker and are looking to tempt the Trotters to sell by readying a bid in the region of around £2.5million.
