Championship side Bolton Wanderers are considering making a loan swoop for Leicester City FC star Joe Dodoo
It is no secret that Bolton Wanderers are currently in the market to sign a new striker following the long term injuries suffered by the duo of Emile Heskey and Zach Clough.
The likes of Victor Anichebe, Marvin Emnes and Yann Kermogant have all been touted with a move to the Macron Stadium in recent times and now in another link, it has been claimed that Bolton are planning a swoop for Leicester City youngster Joe Dodoo.
Dodoo has risen to prominence this season by scoring a hat trick against Bury in the Capital One Cup second round and then following it up with another strike against West Ham United in the third round of the same competition.
Given Dodoo’s early exploits, it is no surprise to see the striker being rated very highly by the Leicester City management but with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki and Andrej Kramaric ahead of him in the pecking order, it is unlikely that the 20-year old will be earning regular minutes on the pitch in the Premier League anytime soon.
As a result, Leicester are open to the idea of offloading Dodoo on loan and now Bolton have emerged as the top candidates to sign the striker.
Bolton are in desperate need of a new frontman and manager Neil Lennon is hopeful of luring Dodoo to the Macron Stadium with the lure of regular first team football.
