Lee Tomlin set to turn his loan move from Bournemouth to Bristol City into a permanent one, according to reports emerging out of England
Lee Tomlin was one of the undoubted stars of the Championship last season after managing 10 goals in 50 appearances from a midfield position for Middlesbrough and as a result, newly promoted Premier League side Bournemouth decided to splash £3.5million to secure his services over the summer.
Many felt that Tomlin would prove to be a very good signing for Bournemouth but as it turned out, the attacking midfielder struggled for regular minutes on the pitch and immediately seemed surplus to requirements at the club.
Tomlin was unsurprisingly made available for a transfer during the January window and the 27-year old join Bristol City on a loan deal till the end of the season, which was admittedly a bit surprising to many.
Tomlin has managed to find his best form once again since moving to Bristol and his five goals in fourteen matches have gone a long way in helping the Robins retain their Championship status.
Due to his exploits, Tomlin has gone on to become a very popular figure at Ashton Gate and now according to reports emerging out of England, it has been claimed that Bristol are looking to turn the attacker’s loan deal at the club into a permanent one as soon as the current season concludes.
