Fulham are set to strengthen their attacking lineup with the £6 million signing of Steve Mounie, according to reports emerging out of France
Fulham managed to avoid relegation from the Championship last season by a very narrow margin and the goals of star striker Ross McCormack was arguably one of the main reasons why the Cottagers were able to avoid the drop.
Given his exploits, McCormack has understandably been courted by a number of clubs this summer and Fulham should be well aware of the fact that they could lose the services of their star man.
If indeed McCormack leaves, Fulham most certainly will need to bring in an able replacement and the Championship side are said to have already begun their search to sign a new striker.
Now according to reports emerging out of France, revelations can be made that Fulham are close to bolstering their attacking lineup with the signing of Steve Mounie from Montpellier.
Mounie spent time on loan at Nimes last season, where he enjoyed a very productive campaign after scoring 11 goals in 32 appearances and his contribution proved to be key in helping the Ligue 2 side avoid relegation.
Mounie’s exploits last term have caught the attention of Fulham and French reports claim that the Cottagers are set to make a £6 million swoop for the 21-year-old this summer.
