Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur plotting a move to secure the services of defender Jefferson Murillo, according to reports
Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a wonderful Premier League campaign this term and while it remains to be seen whether Spurs will be able to claim the title, their season can now already be viewed as a success.
Given the talented squad present at White Hart Lane, the future certainly looks bright for Tottenham but manager Mauricio Pochettino is always on the lookout for new talent to improve his ranks and the Argentinean is already said to have identified a couple of transfer targets to pursue for the summer.
Now according to respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, it has been claimed that Pochettino is considering a move for Colombian ace Jefferson Murillo.
Murillo has managed to create waves in South America with Cúcuta Deportivo and the defender had managed to catch the eye of Genoa, with whom he has been training over the past month.
With Genoa not permitted to sign any Non-EU player until the start of July though, it has paved the way for other clubs to potentially poach Murillo away from the grasp of the Italian side.
Tottenham are believed to be one of the clubs that have expressed their interest in signing Murillo and claims emerging out of Italy have stated that the Premier League side are ready to lure the versatile left sided defender to White Hart Lane next season.
