According to reports from Yahoo Sport, Celtic have placed an offer for Fenerbahce defender Hasan Ali Kaldırım.
Despite being linked with a host of players, Celtic have not been overly active in the January transfer window so far and have only brought in Kouassi Eboue from Kuban Krasnodar.
It is not expected that Celtic will look to sign too many players as we approach the final few days of the window but manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be looking to bring in a new left-back.
Emilio Izaguirre is widely expected to be leaving Parkhead in the next few days as Leeds United have made an approach for the Honduran international and Rodgers wants to bring in a replacement left-back.
Now according to reports from Yahoo Sport, it can be revealed that Celtic have identified Fenerbahce defender Hasan Ali Kaldırım as the ideal target to pursue.
Kaldırım is currently plying his trade for Turkish Super Lig outfit Fenerbahce and he has arguably been one of the best full-backs in the country since bursting into the scene with Kayserispor back in 2010.
Kaldırım’s fine form has earned him the attention from a host of top clubs across Europe and now if reports are to be believed, Celtic have already made an offer to sign the 27-year-old Turkish international recently.
